Trail running is the practice of running on foot in nature, a very complete sport that demands concentration and prudence. The rugged reliefs and the positive slope are part of this sport. On ascents, the gear alternates with the running race. Canes are sometimes used or the hands are supported on the legs in the steepest sections. The arms are widely used to maintain a good balance.

The Sierra de Guara has a perfect orography for the practice of this sport.
