Canyoning in autumn: September is the best-kept secret<\/h2>\n\n

Most visitors are unaware that September can be the best month of the year for canyoning in the Sierra de Guara. The water is still warm, the river has regained its depth, the pools are full and the tour operators are still running as normal. What has disappeared is the August crowds. <\/p>\n\n

Beginners\u2019 canyons such as La Formiga, El Vero Inferior, El Barrasil and La Peonera Inferior are easily accessible throughout September. October transforms the pine forests of the Sierra de Guara into one of the finest mushroom-picking spots in the Aragonese Pre-Pyrenees.
