Fragineto y Tozal (La Tejería – Aguas)

Description
Tozal is the highest summit of Sierra de Guara and the PrePyrenees of Huesca.
The route here suggested combines the ascent to Tozal with the nearby Fragineto peak, a bit lower but equaly impressive with its signature sharp silhouette.
The starting pont is La Tejería, that can be reached from Aguas by the Calcon dam road and later by a dirt road in good condition for 3 km. After passing by La Fabana chapel the path arrives to the gorges, where the stream flow may be high in rainy seasons.
From there, the climb to Fragineto is very steep and rocky, same as the subsequent ascent to Tozal, where we’ll enjoy amazing panoramic views. In the way down, once at Petreñales pass the route takes another steep trail known as Revientachulos.
