Description
Las Bellostas is the last inhabited village of northeastern Sierra de Guara. In its wild enviroment lots of uninhabited villages can be found, Bagüeste standing out among them due to its strategic location at the top of a hill and its unsurpassed panoramic views of the Pyrenees.
From Las Bellostas the trail goes down quickly till Balced riverbed and then goes downstream by a footpath close to the river for 1,5 km. Just before entering Balced canyon, the path leaves the riverbed and then climbs up to Bagüeste, highest point of the route.
After crossing the village, another downhill pathway will close the loop and take us back to Balced river.
Once there, there’s only a last climb left by the first path in order to return to Las Bellostas.
