Vuelta al Muro desde el Cotón (San Pelegrín)
by guaraorg | May 22, 2020
Description
Balced canyon is one of the mail ravines of Sierra de Guara, squeezed between Balced and Sevil mountain ranges.
This circular trail will allow you to go deep into the ravine slopes and later to climb to Los Santos Castle, nestled over a dramatic rocky spur.
The route begins going down and flat by a gravel road before connecting with the Camino Natural del Somontano.
After this warm up the footpaths start, first one in sharp downhill towards Balced river and passing through some ravines, among which the rocky and narrow Cautiecho canyon stands out. Not far from Tranco de las Olas, we must leave the Camino Natural and take a very steep path climbing to Los Santos Castle.
Once at Mesón de Sevil, there’s just an easy descent by gravel road left to the starting point of the route.
