[ Luis, the grandfather, could only bear the permanent absence of María, his wife for more years than he could remember, for a fortnight.
A whole lifetime of love, joys and sorrows. A whole lifetime spent together in this house. ]

Casa Mairal has always been known for its hospitality, for its open doors, for the music played by musicians at the festivals, and for the statue of Christ that the neighbours placed there to ward off all evil.
The best way for us, their grandchildren, to remember and bring them back to life has been to restore it, look after it and invite you to visit.
