Description

This challenging route is the main trail in the eastern part of Guara, similar to the Gran Vuelta al Vero mountain bike route but in the opposite direction.

It is a walk that is lovely but very long and with a lack of water throughout the entire upper section, which is something that should be taken into account above all in the months of summer.

From Alquézar, head down to the Villacantal bridge and take the rocky path that climbs up the Trucho ravine. After passing the Mirador del Vero viewpoint, cross the river again and head up to the beautiful village of Lecina, where the stone-walled path leading to Betorz begins.

From there, it’s almost 15 km along the ridge of the mountains to Mesón de Sevil, offering superb panoramic views of the Pyrenees. The trail ends with the descent to Alquézar along the stony Basacol path.
