In Lecina Square stands the old school, now converted into a small, welcoming space where visitors can learn about the main natural and cultural attractions of the municipality of Bárcabo through information panels and a documentary: the Vero River Gorge, prehistoric rock art, the town centres, the mountain huts and local legends. The centre also pays tribute to Mr Antonio Peñart, who throughout his life showed great affection and admiration for Lecina. He was the creator of the models on display depicting traditional architecture.
