Vía ferrata Alquézar

Rock type:
Very steep or overhanging reddish limestone walls characterised by long, explosive moves and continuous climbing.
Difficulty:
Most routes are grade 7, and there are as many grade 8 routes as there are grade 6 routes. There are few beginner routes (grade 5).
How to get there:
Walk through the village to the viewpoint below the collegiate church. A path starts from there. The routes are located along the descent towards the river.
You will also find routes in the ravine by the spring that descends to the river and on the rock known as Castibián, a beginners’ sector, situated below the San Lucas pass.
