Casa Fabián Ethnological Museum

The village of Alquézar, considered one of the most beautiful villages in Aragon, boasts an interesting and attractive ethnological museum. The various exhibits are displayed throughout the rooms of Casa Fabián, a 17th-century residential building.

The wide variety of farming tools and household objects tells us about the traditions and daily tasks, both at home and in the fields: harvesting, grape and olive picking, weaving plant fibres, craftwork… Thanks to this, we can learn how our ancestors lived in this part of the River Vero.
Exhibition:
The museum comprises various rooms spread over three floors: the courtyard, the kitchen, the bedroom, the cellar and the stables. Each space displays the tools specific to that area, as well as various photographs and explanatory panels that help visitors understand their purpose and how they were used.

The lower floor of the museum houses the most unique and striking feature: a medieval oil mill carved directly out of the limestone rock.
