Circular Lecina - Almazorre - Betorz

As the route is a loop, you can start from any of the three villages, but our suggested route begins in Lecina, specifically from the car park located at the entrance to the village when arriving by car.

From here, the route takes you towards Almazorre along the path marked with yellow and white markings, as it is an officially recognised trail designated PR-HU 56.

The path begins between dry stone walls and winds its way down towards the north, passing through several ravines until it reaches the River Vero, where you will find signposts indicating the turn-off to Betorz or the continuation of the trail to Almazorre

Continuing along our route towards Almazorre, we cross the River Vero, beside which stand the flour mill and the tile works; although these are closed to the public, they form a spot of great beauty that is well worth a stop along the way.

To continue the route towards Betorz, we must head back from Almazorre to the banks of the River Vero, where we come to the fork mentioned earlier. Here, we should take the right-hand branch, marked PR-HU 58, heading west; this crosses the river and follows the Talabera ravine towards Betorz.
